Steven Sessegnon has joined the Robins on a season-long loan from Premier League outfit Fulham, ahead of the Robins’ 2020/21 Sky Bet Championship campaign.

Sessegnon, an England Under-21 international who won the Under-17 FIFA World Cup three years ago, becomes Dean Holden’s fifth signing of the summer transfer window, following the arrivals of Joe Williams, Chris Martin, Alfie Mawson and Chris Brunt.

The right-back has spent his entire career with Fulham, where he progressed through the Academy before making his debut in a 2-0 Carabao Cup win over Wycombe Wanderers in 2017.

The West London side won promotion in that 2017/18 campaign but he wouldn’t make his Championship debut until last season, where he played 14 times to help secure Fulham’s successful promotion bid.

Sessegnon has represented England age groups from Under-16 to Under-21, lifting the Under-17 World Cup in 2017.
