Academy product Vyner was handed his City debut by Lee Johnson in a 2-0 win over MK Dons in February 2016. 

The defender retained his place in the starting line-up against Brighton and Hove Albion three days later.

Vyner made two further appearances for the club in 2015/16, coming off the bench in City’s last two matches of the season against Huddersfield Town and QPR, before spending time on loan at Accrington Stanley the following campaign.

The defender spent the 2018/19 campaign on loan at Championship side Rotherham United before heading further north in 2019/20 to have a temporary spell with Aberdeen. 

Having returned to BS3 in January, Vyner made eight appearances for his hometown club. 

Last season (2020/21) Vyner really established himself, making 49 appearances.

The 24-year-old has already started 12 games this season (2021/22)
