Centre-back Cundy joined Bristol City from Bath City in May 2019.
The Oxford-born defender has spent loan spells at Cambridge United and Gillingham and in 2021 the Robins took out a new contract option.
A long-term knee injury has curtailed his involvement but in January 2022 he made his debut for City in the 2-2 draw with Preston North End.
