A single goal from Antoine Semenyo proved enough to beat FC Zenit St Petersburg and secure the Under-17 Yokohama Cup.
The forward pounced inside the opening minute of the match in Germany on Monday afternoon (May 21st) to seal a memorable victory.
The Academy side held out before joyous post-match celebrations followed, as the side lifted the trophy.
City loan manager Brian Tinnion immediately took to Twitter where he was among the first to praise the team.

The young Robins kicked off the tournament with a 3-1 win against FC Midtyilland, thanks to goals from Vince Harper, Marcus Day and man of the match Semenyo.
James Burford netted in matchday two, as City held FL Bouchum to a 1-1 draw, before a 1-0 loss to Heidenheim followed.
But City secured their semi-final place against Eintracht Frankfurt, which the sides drew 1-1. It was then a test of nerves for the penalty shoot-out but City kept their cool to win 4-2.
