City will hold a Family Festival, sponsored by Poplar Insulation, after the final home game of the season, headlined by the Wurzels.
Fresh from toppling Premier League-bound Brighton 1-0 in front of the Sky cameras, Lee Johnson’s side host Birmingham City in the Sky Bet Championship season finale next Sunday (May 7th, midday kick-off).
City’s head coach, his coaching staff, the players and Board of Directors will all be present at the Family Festival after the game, as the annual Supporters Club & Trust end of season awards are handed out by club president Marina Dolman.
It will all take place in the Fan Village, at the South-West corner of the stadium, where a special stage will be set up in the Winterstoke Road car park.
Local singer Daz will perform before the game, from 10am, and again after the final whistle, leading into the end of season awards.
Popular West Country band the Wurzels will then perform on stage for an hour, with bars and food outlets remaining open in the Fan Village.
Entrance will only be available to ticket holders (season card or match) and the Fan Village will open straight after the final whistle.
Poplar Insulation will sponsor the event, adding to their sponsorship of City’s kit for the past two seasons on the rear of the shirt/shorts.
The match will attract City's largest of the season, eclipsing the 22,512 that watched City tackle Newcastle United back in August. The Lansdown Stand upper tier is open to cope with demand, while Birmingham have already sold out their allocation. Buy online here.
