Wright Earns Win With Australia

Bailey Wright was part of Australia’s starting line-up as they overcame United Arab Emirates in a crucial FIFA World Cup qualifier in Sydney.

Jackson Irvine and Matthew Leckie scored the goals to keep the Socceroos in touch with Japan and Saudi Arabia in AFC qualifying group B.

Wright now has 14 caps for his country, who still look on course to reach next summer’s World Cup in Russia.
