Wright doubt for Middlesbrough trip

City captain Bailey Wright will be assessed this week after picking up a thigh strain in training.

Australian international Wright picked up the knock on Monday as he prepared for Tuesday night's clash with Birmingham City.

He missed the match under the lights at Ashton Gate as City ran our 3-1 winners.

And he may not travel for City's trip to the Riverside when they take on Middlesbrough in their all-important Sky Bet Championship clash on Saturday (April 14th, 3pm kick-off).

"We’re assessing Bailey day by day," assistant head coach Jamie McAllister told BCTV.

"He might have a chance for Saturday but we don’t know yet.

"He has picked up a thigh strain in training before the Birmingham game on Tuesday night so we’re monitoring that and we’ll see how he is."
