Bailey Wright has been called up by Australia for FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Iraq and United Arab Emirates later this month.
The January recruit from Preston North End has been named in the 23-man squad for the March 23rd trip to Tehran to face Iraq and March 28th home game with UAE in Sydney.
Wright has been involved in every City game since joining the club and his form has clearly caught the eye of Socceroos head coach Ange Postecoglou.
The centre-back has 12 caps for his country, scoring once to date.
Season Tickets for the 2022/23 campaign are selling at a record pace, with more than 9,000 supporters already committed.
