Cauley Woodrow has shaken off a thigh problem in time for Bolton Wanderers’ visit to Ashton Gate.
The on-loan Fulham striker was left out of the travelling squad for Saturday’s 0-0 draw at Norwich City through injury.
However, Woodrow – who scored in his last Ashton Gate outing against Derby – was back in training at Failand today.
Speaking on BCTV, assistant head coach Dean Holden said: “Cauley is looking bright and he should be okay to return to the squad, as long as he doesn’t feel any after effects.”
Eros Pisano remains absent with a knee problem, with the most likely outcome being a return after the October international break when Burton Albion come to Ashton Gate (Friday, October 13th).
Meanwhile, Milan Djuric returned to Bristol today after an extended break in Italy – and he’s sporting a fresh short haircut.
Holden added: “It’s great to see Milan back and he looks about ten years younger!
“It’s been a good break for him back in Italy with his family, recovering well. He will now finish his rehabilitation back with us.”
Tickets remain on general sale for tomorrow night’s clash with Bolton, with sales also available on the night from 5pm at the matchday ticket office.
