Wollacott makes Swindon switch

Jojo Wollacott has left City permanently to join Swindon Town on a free transfer with a sell-on clause.

The goalkeeper originally joined City’s Academy at the age of 14 and progressed to the first team squad but did not make a competitive appearance.

Over the past few seasons, Wollacott continued his development with loans at Weymouth, Bergsöy, Bath City, Woking, Truro City, Gloucester City and Forest Green Rovers.

He then went on to feature twice for Swindon Town during the 2020/21 season, as part of an emergency loan in February.

City Player Pathway Manager Brian Tinnion said: “This is a great opportunity for Jojo to push on and establish himself in first team football and he leaves with our blessing.

“Jojo has been a great character around the club - he has remained patient, always worked hard and he has been the upmost professional. We wish him all the best in his future.”
