Forest Green Rovers have secured the services of Jojo Wollacott on a temporary basis.
The shot-stopper joins Mark Cooper’s side for the 2019/20 campaign – with City having a recall option in January - and will now benefit from regular League Two game time.
Wollacott has risen through the Academy ranks and developed from temporary spells at the likes of Bath City, Truro City and Gloucester City.
On returning to BS3, Wollacott was included in Lee Johnson’s 18-man squad on three occasions last term.
The 22-year-old travelled with the first-team squad for the club’s 2019/20 pre-season training camp in Florida and was named on the bench for the season opener against Leeds United.
Wollacott put pen to paper on a new two-year contract at Ashton Gate earlier this summer, with the option of a further 12 months.
He will now link up with fellow City loanee James Morton at The New Lawn, who made his Rovers debut at the weekend.
