Bristol City Community Trust chief executive Daniel White will join the EFL Trust Advisory Group as an elected representative of the South West & Wales Region.
White, who has held the position of chief executive at Bristol City Community Trust since September 2016, was voted on to the EFL Trust advisory group for three years and will succeed Cardiff City Community Foundation’s Gavin Hawkey, following the club’s promotion to the Premier League.
Commenting on his appointment, White said: “I’m honoured to have been appointed and I’m looking forward to representing Bristol City and the whole of the South West & Wales Cluster in the coming season.”
EFL Trust director of operations Mike Evans said: “We are delighted Dan will be joining the EFL Trust Advisory Group this season.
“The Advisory Group has an important role to play in shaping the future direction of the EFL Trust and ensuring there is a strong connection between the local football club trusts and the national body that represents their interests.
“Bristol City is developing its role in the community rapidly and Dan has been instrumental in the great progress the club is making.
“Dan’s input into the EFL Trust will be critical in helping us make sure we adopt the right strategies to support our network of 72 EFL club trusts to the best possible advantage.”
White will continue his role as Community Trust CEO alongside his EFL commitments.
