Nahki Wells looked back on a good point with Fulham and believes City can build on the performance.
The striker headed City in front before Tom Cairney's left-footed shot picked out the bottom corner and split the points in BS3.
"In the grand scheme of the entire game, I think that it’s a fair point but I am devastated," Wells said. "As you score at a crucial time and then to concede at a crucial time it hurt a lot so to get one point is a fair assessment of the performance.
"The frustrating bit is to get so close to earning three points and then lose out on two points, which would’ve put us in a really good position, but it’s still a good point to get as they are a side that we could potentially still be facing at the end of the season."
" I felt that was a goal that could’ve went on to win us the game," he added, reflecting on his second-half header, "but as we conceded it takes a little bit of shine off that but I am equally happy to get on the score sheet and we can try and build a run from this."
Next up for the Robins is a trip to Blackburn Rovers, who themselves sit only two points behind City in tenth position in the Sky Bet Championship.
Wells added: "It’s weird because every game is important and every opponent is going to possess different pressures, especially the teams at the bottom of the table. But we play a team on Saturday that’s around us in the table and it makes this a good point if we win – that’s the main focus to go to Blackburn and pick up all three points."
