Well Red meets: Jay Dasilva

On loan from Chelsea, Jay Dasilva reflects on the first few months in BS3.

What have you made of you loan here at City, Jay?

I'm really enjoying it. I've had a few months to settle to and the boys are cool. I'm feeling good now and enjoying my time here.

You knew Lloyd Kelly from the England youth set up before arriving here?

Yes I know Lloydy from the international set up. It's been good to have a familiar face here. We have a good relationship and a good understanding on and off the pitch so that helps a lot!

The Euros, at both Under-21s and senior level will be coming up soon. Is that your short-term goal?

Yes, definitely. By the end of the season I want to be playing in the Under-21s group at the Euros in Italy!

And what's it like to be compared to Arsenal and Chelsea legend Ashley Cole?

It's huge to have people say something like that. He's one of my role models as a left-back, obviously he was a great player for both club and country so of course he was a big role model for me.

Don't miss the full interview inside tonight's Well Red programme (City v Hull, 7.45pm), complete with added AR content when used with the official Bristol City app. The programme costs £3.50 and is available from sellers around Ashton Gate.
