🏆 Weimann scoops four awards

Andi Weimann has scooped four honours in the end of season awards.

The Austrian was voted Player of the Year by the fans in a poll organised by the Supporters Club & Trust, Player of the Year presented by the Senior Reds, while also claiming the Golden Boot as top scorer and the Champagne Moment for his far-post winning volley in the Severnside derby win in August 2021.

With 20 goals, his best every tally, in 44 appearances - a total of 3944 minutes - Weimann has had what manager Nigel Pearson called 'an outstanding season'.

And at approximately 2.40pm this Saturday, at the end of players’ warm-up before the final home game of the season against Hull City, images of Weimann and his fellow award-winners receiving their trophies will be displayed on the big screen with accompanying announcements.
