Andreas Weimann celebrated his 20th goal of the season in the Robins' 3-1 over Derby County at Pride Park.
City made it back-to-back away wins after first-half goals from Weimann and Antoine Semenyo as well as a late header from Timm Klose secured all three points for Nigel Pearson's side.
After scoring against his former club Weimann told Robins TV: “The last two or three games I have been on 19 goals so I just wanted to get a chance. On Monday against Sheffield United I was in a couple times but just didn't get the ball. I was waiting for the chance and, when it came to me, I was quite confident that I could put it away.
"Any striker will tell you when you have loads of time that is probably the hardest ones because you have about 10 thoughts in your head about what you're going to do but I was confident and I knew where I wanted to put the ball. When it hit the net it was a relief and I was delighted."
City's No.14 also went on to talk about his partnership with Antoine Semenyo and Chris Martin as well as the fantastic support of the travelling fans this season.
The Robins' final home game sees them host Hull City at Ashton Gate on Saturday, April 30th (3pm).
