Adam Webster has joined Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old has put pen to paper at the American Express Community Stadium, bringing an end to his one-year stay in BS3.
City’s Chief Executive Officer Mark Ashton said: “We wish Adam the best of luck in the Premier League and thank him for his services last season. He made a significant contribution to our campaign and developed under Lee and his coaching team.
“We turned down several bids from a number of clubs for Adam over the summer but we believe now is the right time and the right value for Bristol City for him to move on.
“For the second time this summer it’s a record fee received by this club for a player and this will help us achieve sustainable success.”
Webster arrived at Ashton Gate from Ipswich Town in June 2018 and went on to make 47 appearances for the Robins, netting three goals.
The Matthew Bromley memorial basketball games will take place from 4pm on Saturday, May 28th at the SGS College Arena.
