Webb strike nominated for monthly accolade

A long-range wonder goal from City youngster Bradley Webb has made the LFE September Goal of the Month shortlist.

Webb, pictured, stepped up to take a free kick when he spotted QPR's goalkeeper out of position. He floated the ball from the set piece, not far inside the opposition's half, and it sailed over the R's shotstopper.

City went on to win the Development League match 4-0.

Voting closes on October 12th at 12pm. You can vote via Twitter using the hashtag #LFEGOALF.

The shortlist:

  • Bradley Webb (Bristol CIty)
  • Charles Hagan (Sheffield Wednesday)
  • Joe Neal (Cambridge United)
  • Rieves Boocock (Doncaster Rovers)
  • Musambya Kisimba (Rochdale)
  • Lewis Spurrier (Forest Green Rovers)
  • Kyle Joseph (Wigan Athletic)
  • Leon Maloney (Portsmouth)
  • Owen Watkinson (Blackpool)
  • Elliott Sartorius (Lincoln City)
