🎥 'We were resilient' - Bentley

Daniel Bentley was delighted to secure all three points on his 400th career appearance after a resilient performance in a 2-1 win over Middlesbrough.

An early goal from Andreas Weimann and a second-half wonder strike from Antoine Semenyo sealed the Robins' fourth consecutive home league win of the season.

Speaking to Robins TV on his return to the starting line-up, captain Bentley said: "We made it difficult for ourselves, which we seem to have an unhealthy habit of doing, but we had to dig in and be resilient and everyone was at full tilt to try and get the lads over the line.

"We sat deep at times, invited pressure and it would've been nice to keep a clean sheet but we got the three points and that's the most important thing.

"It's great to have three clinical finishers, I'd hate to play against them so I'm glad they're with me."

Bentley also spoke about how well Sam Bell played on his first start of the season - in a wingback position - and the squad's appreciation for the Ashton Gate Eight.
