Bristol City Women's head coach Willie Kirk emphasises importance of protecting unbeaten home league record this weekend.
A draw last week against Durham has left the vixens feeling frustrated as they remain in second place in the league, behind local rivals Yeovil.
City have a chance to lift their spirits as they take on sixth place London Bees on Saturday, July 23rd (KO 6pm) at home and Kirk is keen to put last week behind them.
“We have two big back-to-back games ahead of us and we really do need to take maximum points to put ourselves in a really strong position,” he said.
“London Bees have a good coach in Dave Edmondson, who was previously here and experienced great success.
“They are well organised and, although we beat them at their place, they haven’t lost many games since.
“They are coming to us off the back off a heavy defeat but I still think they will come with confidence.”
Tickets for Saturday's game (6pm kick-off) are available online here or in cash on the gate.
