Ádám Nagy says City must go back to basics and show their character to get back to winning ways.
City host Luton Town on the back of four consecutive losses but will be looking to end the calendar year on a high.
And they have the chance to do just that with home advantage on Sunday against Graeme Jones' Hatters (December 29th, 3pm KO).
Nagy said: “We are playing at home and we discussed in the season that our home has to be a fortress. That hasn’t happened in the last few games and we have to show our character, how good we are and if we can bounce back, I think we can start winning games again.
“We will play in front of our fans so obviously we want to entertain them but right now the most important thing is to keep a clean sheet and score. Even if we don’t play beautiful football, we have to just win games and the entertainment part will come too.”
Tickets remain on general sale for the visit of luton on Sunday.
Chris Vui returns to the starting line-up ahead of the hotly anticipated West Country derby at Ashton Gate on Friday (7.45pm KO).
