Dean Holden is looking forward to the club’s opening away game of the 2018/19 season tomorrow (Saturday, 3pm kick-off).
Big spending Nottingham Forest were held to a 1-1 draw at Ashton Gate last weekend and Holden is looking to build on the result.
The assistant head coach says City will travel to Bolton Wanderers’ University of Bolton Stadium “full of confidence”.
“The mood has been good this week in training,” he told BCTV. “We were disappointed not to get three points against Forest, although they proved again in the West Brom game that they’ll be up there this season.
“The lads are looking forward to Bolton and we go into the game full of confidence.
“They had a great result against West Brom on the opening day and they’re a tough team to play against but we know all about them and we’re thoroughly looking forward to it.
“We can’t wait to get on the road and take some travelling fans up to Bolton and we’re very excited about hopefully coming away with three points.”
The Sky Bet Championship clash is pay on the day for City supporters, with cash-only sales.
