🎥 ‘We didn’t create enough’ - Fleming

Curtis Fleming reflected that City did not ‘create enough’ as the Robins tasted defeat at The Den.

Jed Wallace’s 64th-minute penalty separated the sides as City’s five-match unbeaten run game to an end.

In a game where substitute Nahki Wells withdrew before kick-off with a tight groin and Nathan Baker and Jay Dasilva came off with heel and ankle problems respectively mid-match, the Robins defended resolutely with Dan Bentley in top form on his 100th appearance for the club.

But they could not break through at the other end of the pitch despite being roared on by 750 travelling fans.

Assistant Manager Fleming, standing in for Covid-hit Nigel Pearson, told Robins TV: “We had a lot of chances around the edge of the box but we didn’t create enough or ask enough questions to cause them more problems.

“I can’t fault their endeavour and their determination to do well but we didn’t make too many great decisions tonight and let ourselves down in certain aspects of the game.”
