We deserve top six - Djuric

Striker Milan Djuric is back and ready to help his side's play-off push.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina striker has returned to first-team football after requiring further groin surgery towards the end of 2017.

He has featured twice for the Under-23s, scoring a brace against Cheltenham Town, as well as appearing as a substitute in last weekend's Sky Bet Championship draw with Burton Albion.

He said he feels "70 per cent ready" but is feeling "good."

Djuric is now in line to feature in this Saturday's (March 17th, 3pm) clash with Ipswich Town at Ashton Gate.

Speaking to BCTV, Djuric said: "It’s a nice feeling [to be back] after a long time away.

"I hope to do better now after suffering a long-term injury and I need to continue working hard now for both myself and the team.

"It’s hard when you have this injury, it’s a complicated one with three or four parts of the area affected…now I feel so much better and now I need to help the team in the last nine games because we deserve to finish in the top six."
