Sam Pearson was praised on his first club appearance when the Academy midfielder took to the field in the Sky Bet Championship on Saturday.
The 19-year-old was a ball of energy and got stuck into the contest against his senior opponents in QPR.
He replaced Zak Vyner in the 37th minute of the game at Ashton Gate and speaking after the match, Pearson said he was "shocked" to get the nod.

Person said: “You just have to get up to speed but I think I did.
"I grew into it, got more touches, got past my man. Obviously, it is hard when you’re 2-0 down but I think I did well," Pearson said.
Pearson’s debut was a positive on an afternoon where Ilias Chair’s 11th minute header and Rob Dickie’s close-range shot in the 22nd minute sealed the win for QPR.
Next up for City is a trip to Birmingham City next Saturday (March 13th, 3pm KO).
