City's players returned to their Failand training base on Monday for the first time since early March, as the squad participated in small group training sessions (May 25th).
In line with Government guidance, City have put in place stringent COVID-19 training ground procedures to protect players, staff and their families, while allowing preparations to continue ahead of the potential resumption of the Sky Bet Championship season.
The players and coaches have spent the lockdown period doing fitness from home and yesterday proved a significant landmark as it was the first time they were allowed to train and kick a football in small groups, all while observing social distancing, with any close contact scenarios such as tackling forbidden under present guidelines.
