Walsh handed home debut against Canaries

January recruit Liam Walsh is to make his home debut when Bristol City kick-off against Norwich City this afternoon.

Walsh comes into Lee Johnson's side to face the Canaries at Ashton Gate this afternoon (3pm kick-off), replacing Hordur Magnusson.

It is the only change to the City starting XI which kicked-off at the Etihad Stadium last week.

The former Everton midfielder signed for the Robins last Friday (January 5th) and made a substitute appearance against Manchester City in the Carabao Cup.

City's new loanee signing from Liverpool, Ryan Kent, is also named among today's substitutes bench.

City: Fielding, Wright, Flint, Baker, Bryan, Smith, Pack, Brownhill, Walsh, Paterson, Reid. Subs: Steele, Magnusson, Vyner, Kent, Eliasson, Taylor, Woodrow.

Norwich City: Gunn, Pinto, Zimmermann, Hanley, Klose, Lewis, Vrancic, Tettey, Maddison, Murphy, Oliveira. Subs: McGovern, Husband, Reed, Hoolahan, Stiepermann, Raggett, Cantwell.

Referee: Simon Hooper
