Staff from Bristol City and Ashton Gate will be walking the steps of the Stadium to raise awareness and funds for the Nephrotic Syndrome Trust on Tuesday, January 21st.
Following the sad passing of two-year-old Amora Afobe, daughter of Benik and Lois Afobe, colleagues will be uniting to put their best foot forward to climb up every step inside and outside – more than three times the height of the Empire State Building in New York.
Nephrotic Syndrome, a serious and debilitating kidney condition affects around 10,000 people in the UK each year – many young children – and the walk will generate much needed funds for the work of NeST, the Nephrotic Syndrome Trust.
Wendy Cook from NeST said: “Thank you for your kind and generous support and to all the staff walking the steps. Good luck from NeST! Please help our team of world leading researchers here at Bristol University to find a cure to beat this cruel kidney condition.”
