Sam Pearson has been named in the latest Wales Under-21 squad.
The 19-year-old, who recently put pen to paper on a new three-year deal in BS3, will link-up with his international teammates on Sunday for a six-day camp in Swansea.
The group will face Maldova in a UEFA Under-21 fixture on Friday, June 4th at Stebonheath Park (7.30pm KO).
It’s been a campaign to remember for Pearson as he made five Sky Bet Championship appearances, which included his senior City debut back in March, while he assisted the Under-23s to the Professional Development League South title.
England U20 were defeated 36-37 by Ireland courtesy of a late Sam Prendergast penalty in the the Six Nations Summer Series.
