Scott Wagstaff’s Bristol City future is on hold ahead of the expiration of his contract this summer.
The midfielder joined City in the summer of 2013 after his release from Charlton Athletic, and has made 90 appearances, scoring nine times.
Wagstaff’s current deal is due to end in June and head coach Lee Johnson has revealed any talks about the future have been postponed for a short time.
“I had a good chat with Scott and we’ve decided to leave things for a week to ten days,” Johnson told bcfc.co.uk.
“At that point we’ll sit down again and see where we both are with regards to contract discussions.”
Karleigh Osborne, who has seen out the last year of his City contract on loan at AFC Wimbledon, will be leaving the club. Osborne made 32 appearances for the club and also spent time with Colchester United on loan during 2014/15.
All other members of the first team squad are in contract for next season and beyond.
England international and World Cup winner, Sophie Halhead will join the Bears Women board ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.
