Four members of the Bristol City Women squad have just returned from Taipei, where they competed in the World University Games, representing Great Britain.
Olivia Fergusson and Ellie Wilson were playing members of the squad, while Lauren Smith was technical director and Corrine Yorston was head of physical performance.
The squad played five games, winning three and losing two.
Vixens assistant coach and Youth Academy technical director Lauren Smith spoke of the trip: “Taipei was a fantastic experience for everyone involved.
“For the players it was a chance for them to play on a world stage, against different oppositions and styles of play.
“For me personally, it was a new experience coaching wise, which will ultimately make me a better coach which is what I am always aiming for.”
