Visit Bradenton this summer

Follow in the footsteps of the Robins when they travelled out to the Bradenton Area last summer.

HEAD TO THE BEACH
The beaches of Anna Maria Island aren’t to be missed, and they top the list for many holidaymakers coming to the area. Take your pick from the numerous beaches on Anna Maria Island and Longboat Key.

FIND YOUR PERFECT BEACH

Dolphins are common off Anna Maria Island

SPOT THE DOLPHIN
There is a pod of dolphins that live year-round in the waters, so you'll have a pretty good chance of spotting these friendly mammals (maybe even a baby dolphin).

The boys enjoyed a 90-minute boat trip on their day off with Paradise Boat Tours.

The Beach House Restaurant

Do as the locals do and enjoy a sundowner
The sunsets on Anna Maria Island are some of the most beautiful in the world and likely one of the most memorable moments you'll have. Pair this with wining and dining with your toes in the sand, then you really are in heaven...especially at the Beach House Restaurant visited by the squad.

Here are a few more ideas of things to do when you head over...

  • If you're heading to Florida with the kids, then the Bradenton Area is sure to keep the little ones entertained. Aside from all the fun of the beach, kids (and adults) can test out their treetop skills at TreeUmph! a unique treetop, canopy experience with zip wires and adventure courses.
  • The Bishop Museum is the biggest natural and cultural museum on Florida's west coast. Here, you can learn about the natural history of our planet, learn about the Milky Way in the planetarium or visit the gentle giant manatee in the rehabilitation centre.
  • Looking to get out in the great outdoors? There is no doubt Florida is a diverse, subtropical habitat and home to many types of wildlife. If you're in the Bradenton Area, be sure to head out on a kayak and see the wildlife with a local tour guide.
  • Want to get away and switch off? The Bradenton Area is the perfect spot for a mental detox. Enjoy a massage on the beach, take the afternoon to go fishing or sailing on the calm waters, or simply laze around your pool or on the beach. You won’t find any hustle and bustle in this area, which is why people come back time and time again.
