A lucky Bristol-based family have gone behind the matchday scenes with Bristol City.
The family were the winning bidders of a VIP away-day experience, one of the prizes on offer from December's Bristol Sport Gala Dinner which raised nearly £50,000 for our associated charities.
One of the auction prizes was a unique away-day experience, which the family enjoyed with City's trip to Leeds United earlier this month.
They were given an exclusive behind-the-scenes look as the players trained at Failand, travelled north with the team and walked out onto the pitch at Elland Road, before receiving a private transfer back to Bristol, courtesy of Platinum Executive Travel.
The Gala Dinner itself was an evening which celebrated the impact our various community programmes are having across the region.
Sporting stars attended the black tie event at Ashton Gate, where City head coach Lee Johnson and Bristol Rugby head coach Pat Lam spoke about their respective seasons.
Chris Vui and Charles Piutau were in action in the opening round of the Pacific Nations Cup, with Tonga beaten by Fiji and Samoa edging out Australia A.
