Bristol City Women seek an RTC Head Coach and Assistant Coach.

Regional Talent Centre Head Coach

Purpose:

  • To deliver a well-structured and high-quality coaching programme for the Youth Academy team in line with the technical programme and club philosophy.
  • To act as a point of contact for the players within the Youth Academy.
  • To act as a coach and responsible member of staff within the BCFWC Youth Academy.

Salary and Contractual Status:

  • Dependant on Experience and Qualification
  • Office Location: Stoke Gifford Stadium, South Gloucestershire and Stroud College- WISE Campus 
  • Part-Time. Training times will be two nights from Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday dependant on age group.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of Youth Academy coaching and match day programme in line with the guidelines set by the Youth Development Technical Director
  • Develop players within the Youth Academy Pathway
  • Complete session plans for all delivered training sessions
  • Attend and help organise trials
  • Provide formal feedback for players and parents/guardians
  • Act as an ambassador for BCWFC
  • Ensure session plans and player logs are kept up-to-date and in line with the Club’s Technical Programme and FA guidelines
  • Carry out any other tasks required by the Youth Development Technical Director and 9-19 Administrator
  • Attend Staff meetings and FA Continual Professional Development sessions
  • Ensure the welfare and safeguarding of player is adhered to at each session and game
  • Provide high quality coaching and support at all times

Qualifications:

  • UEFA B Licence (UEFA A desirable)
  • FA Youth Modules (Youth Award desirable)
  • FA First Aid Qualification
  • FA Safeguarding Children Workshop certificate
  • An understanding of Talent Identification
  • Understanding of the FA Girls’ England Talent Pathway
  • Knowledge and understanding of player development
  • Knowledge and experience of working with young players 
  • Ability to work in a team environment
