Vacancy: Bristol City First Team Analyst

Bristol City is looking to appoint a first team analyst for the 2016/17 season.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide in depth training analysis using the clubs filming drone and other analysis related software.
  • Leading the clubs use of prozone for post match analysis. This includes monitoring the match day performance data and trend analysis throughout the season.
  • Assist with pre-match analysis.
  • Watching live games and creating in depth reports on opposition and players for recruitment purposes.
  • Working on any other tasks that may be required from the analysis department & the head of analysis.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE

  • A very good work ethic, attention to detail, good communication skills & the ability to work within a team.
  • Able to use the following confidently; sports code, Prozone, Scout7 ISF, Keynote & Microsoft Excel.
  • Advanced computer skills (Mac and Windows) with experience compiling, trending and presenting large sets of data.
  • Be self-motivated/committed with the ability to show initiative and work to strict time constraints.
  • Keeping the standards of analysis delivered at the club high.
  • Flexible and able to sometimes work unsociable hours & weekends.
  • The ability to build a good working relationships with the analysis department, coaching staff and the players.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience with a minimum of three years working within professional football.
  • Undergraduate degree relating to performance analysis/sports science or coaching.
  • Coaching qualifications are desirable (FA/UEFA)
  • Prozone level 1, 2 & 3 courses completed.
  • A full UK driving licence.
