Vacancy: Bristol City Club Doctor

Bristol City is recruiting a club doctor.

The successful candidate would work across the club, liaising with the Head of Performance and the medical teams within the men’s and Academy set-ups.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide medical service to Bristol City players
  • Provide regular clinics for players across sites
  • Attend matches home and away where required
  • To organise and lead on cardiac screening/head injury protocols and medical screenings

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential

  • Full enlistment with GMC
  • Insurance/licence to practice
  • ATMMiF Pitch side qualification (or equivalent)
  • Full clean driving licence

Desirable

  • Post graduate Sports and Exercise Medicine qualification

EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • Proven experience of working within sport

SKILLS

  • High level clinical skills
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good time management
