With the UCAS application deadline approaching (January 15th), don’t miss out on your chance to study with the Robins Foundation on their university courses.
Based at Ashton Gate Stadium, students have the opportunity to further their education within an inspirational learning environment, whilst gaining invaluable practical experience with Bristol City Football Club.
Foundation Degree Community Football Coaching and Development
This two year programme - ran in partnership with the University of South Wales - provides students with a unique opportunity to develop their knowledge through studying a variety of football and sport-based modules, whilst also gaining practical experience through coaching placements with Bristol City Robins Foundation and Bristol City Football Club. The course also offers students the option to complete a third year BSc top up.
Foundation degree Sports Coaching and Development
Similar to our football specific coaching degree, this two year programme - ran in partnership with the University of South Wales - provides students with a unique opportunity to develop their knowledge through studying a variety of sport-based modules, whilst also gaining practical experience through coaching placements as part of Bristol City Robins Foundation and our partner organisations. The course also offers students the option to complete a third year BSc top up.
BA (Hons) Sports Business and Entrepreneurship
This three year programme - ran in partnership with University of the West of England - is very much ‘practice led’, with teamwork and entrepreneurship both being central components of the programme. Students are placed in team companies where they undertake a variety of “projects” which will include real business ventures.
The programme is ‘light’ on the formal delivery of knowledge through lectures etc., but ‘heavy’ on working in teams, self-managed learning and learning by doing.
The purpose of this course is to give you real life business experience to allow you to graduate with not only a qualification, but the experience and skills required within the industry.
To apply or for further information:
A Level and BTEC applicants can be accepted on to each course.
Should you wish to apply for either course or want to find out more, please click here get in touch via the contact: education@bcfc.co.uk.
