Under-23s to tackle Liverpool in Cup

City Under-23s will travel to Chester FC on Sunday to face Liverpool in the Premier League Cup (1pm).

The development group enjoyed a perfect start to the tournament, beating top flight side Stoke City 3-1 in their opening fixture, courtesy of goals from Tyreeq Bakinson, Rory Holden and Arnold Garita.

This second group fixture will be followed up with a trip to Charlton Athletic in December.

BRISTOL DERBY

Meanwhile, Luke Williams’ side will meet their Bristol Rovers counterparts on Thursday, November 16th in the Central League.

The mouth-watering tie will be played at Weston-super-Mare’s Woodspring Stadium, kick-off 7pm. Tickets are priced as Adults £5, while under-16s are free.
