Under-23s start at the Gate tonight

City Under-23s begin their Professional Development League campaign against Sheffield United at Ashton Gate tonight (7pm).

Luke Williams' young squad will tackle the Blades in BS3, and entry is free for season card holders, with the Lansdown Stand lower tier open.

Entry for all other supporters costs £3 for adults, £1 for under-12s.

The Under-23s head into the new season on the back of a positive pre-season campaign.

Williams' side won the Gloucestershire Senior Challenge Cup with a 4-2 win over Cirencester Town, before overcoming Taunton Town and Swansea City by a single goal.
