Under-23s set to face the Tigers

City Under-23s will travel to face their Hull City counterparts at the Eon Visual Media Stadium this afternoon (Monday, 2pm kick-off).

The development group will approach the Professional Development League fixture in a buoyant mood, having suffered just one defeat in their last seven outings in all competitions.

City were last in action on Thursday and a blistering first-half performance in Essex saw the youngsters cruise to a 3-0 win over Colchester United.

Luke Williams’ side are currently in the midst of a fixture pile-up, with today’s encounter being their fourth match in 11 days.

The development group will also play Swansea City in South Wales this week (Thursday, 2pm) in the knockout stages of the Premier League Cup.
