City Under-23s will take the first steps to defend their Gloucestershire Senior Challenge Cup title when they face Cirencester Town this evening (7.30pm).
These two teams met just two months ago in a delayed final of the 2016/17 competition, with Luke Williams’ side lifting the trophy after a 4-2 victory.
Tonight’s game will be the second match in three days for City’s development group, after they secured a 2-2 draw at Ipswich Town’s Portman Road in the Professional Development League on Monday evening.
It’s pay on the night for supporters at the Corinium Stadium (GL7 1HS), with tickets priced at £6 Adults, £3 concession and £1 under-16s.
The winner of tonight’s tie will be rewarded with a home game against Bristol Rovers.
