Lee Tomlin is out of Saturday’s home game with Nottingham Forest and Mark Little is also a doubt.
Attacker Tomlin, who provided the assist for Marlon Pack’s winner against Leeds United last night, picked up his fifth caution of the season in the same game.
It has triggered an immediate one-match, forcing him to sit out this weekend’s Sky Bet Championship clash at Ashton Gate.
Little hobbled out of the Leeds win with a hamstring problem and will be assessed by City’s medical staff.
Meanwhile, head coach Lee Johnson has arranged a behind-closed-doors game with Forest Green on Wednesday to boost the fitness of several key men, including Joel Ekstrand, Gustav Engvall and Adam Matthews.
The fixture could come too soon for Korey Smith, who recently had a minor setback on his road to recovery.
