Lee Tomlin has completed a move to Cardiff City for an undisclosed fee.
The 28-year-old has passed a medical in South Wales, penning a three-year contract at Cardiff City Stadium.
Chief executive officer Mark Ashton told bcfc.co.uk: “Since turning his loan deal into a permanent move, it didn’t quite work out for Lee, as he acknowledged publicly.
“Everyone at Ashton Gate would like to wish Lee all the very best for the future.”
Tomlin made 60 appearances for the club during his loan and permanent spell, scoring 13 times – six of which came during his initial stint.
