‘To score in front of our fans was perfect’ – Pisano

Eros Pisano described the moment he smashed in the winner at Ewood Park.

His 80th-minute strike from Callum O’Dowda’s corner was enough to seal victory away against Blackburn Rovers.

He played the role of the super sub, having come on just after the 60th minute to make the best possible impact.

“It was a really good, tough game but we really deserved to win this game,” he said. “I enjoyed to score but most importantly because we got the three points.

“You have to be ready always, whether you are on the bench or in the starting XI. I worked every day for this moment. It was amazing to score and go across to the fans, it was perfect.

“I remember nothing, jut celebrating with my teammates and in front of the fans. It was amazing.

“They were amazing, they helped us all game and I want thank them. They can help us more against QPR on Tuesday.”

Tickets are still available for the Sky Bet Championship fixture under the lights at Ashton Gate (February 12th, 7.45pm KO), including a £15 offer for Forever Bristol Members in the Dolman Stand.
