City's top scorer this season, Bobby Reid, says his teammates are buzzing with their festive results so far.
It's maximum points from their two December matches to date, after Lee Johnson's side recorded 2-1 victories against Middlesbrough and Sheffield United in the Sky Bet Championship.
Nottingham Forest travel to Ashton Gate this Saturday (3pm kick-off) as City look to continue closing the gap on second-placed Cardiff City and table toppers Wolves.
Reid, who has 11 goals in all competitions in the current campaign, told BCTV: "We're buzzing but we still have a few more games to go and we're just trying to put points on the board as soon as possible.
"We're focused on how we play. We're playing at home and we have to take the game to them (Nottingham Forest).
"We can't be worried about what they are like. Of course we need to know about their strengths and hopefully we can take care of their weaknesses.
"We take this as any other game, where form goes out of the window and we will try to play our best."
WHAT HE SAID
"Of course we need to know about their strengths and we can hopefully we can take care of their weaknesses."
Reid's attacking colleague, Jamie Paterson, will be vying to line up against his former side after recording some impressive displays since his return from his recent injury and illness.
And it was in this fixture last season that Paterson scored the winner for City.
Reid said: "Pato has always been a good player but it's different now he's been playing behind me. There's two small guys up top but we don't mind it. We love to interplay, play the ball between us and it shows in the games."
Season Tickets for the 2022/23 campaign are selling at a record pace, with more than 9,000 supporters already committed.
