The right-back cut inside on his right foot before unleashing a shot from the edge of the box into the bottom left corner, flicking off the post on its way.
The win lifts Aberdeen up to fourth in the Scottish Premiership before they were scheduled to play Celtic this weekend.

In League Two, James Morton came on as a substitute in Forest Green Rovers’ 2-2 draw with Mansfield.
Sam Pearson returned from international duty to assist Bath City in their 1-0 win over St Albans, while Vince Harper put in a Man of the Match showing for Gloucester City. The Tigers won 1-0 keeping a clean sheet with Harvey Smith in defence.
Elsewhere there were defeats for Jamie Paterson (Derby), Cameron Pring and Rory Holden (Walsall), Jonny Smith (Oldham), Louis Britton and Bradd Webb (Yate Town).
