The City loans report: Paterson nets winner

Keep up to date with the latest performances from the Robins players out on loan.

Derby County are up fifth in the Sky Bet Championship thanks to Jamie Paterson's winner on Saturday.

He scored on his first league start for the Rams, placing a shot into the bottom corner as Derby snatched the 3-2 win at Birmingham City.

Elsewhere, Matty Taylor continued his goalscoring form with a goal to help Oxford United record a 3-0 win against Tranmere Rovers.

Rory Holden played the full 90 minutes in a 3-2 win for Walsall, their third win in a row in Sky Bet League Two.

Vince Harper and Tom Harrison both played the full 90 minutes in a 3-1 home win for Gloucester City and Robbie Cundy kept a clean sheet in Torquay United's 4-0 away win at Stockport.

Young shotstopper Lochlan Robertson kept another clean sheet in Evesham United's 1-0 away win versus Melksham Town.

Liam Walsh's Coventry City drew 1-1 in League One versus Doncaster, while Zak Smith's Taunton Town also held Metropolitan Police 1-1.

Bradd Webb set up two goals but ended up on the wrong side in a 4-2 loss for Yate Town. Louis Britton scored one of the goals.

In Scotland, Zak Vyner's Aberdeen were beaten 5-0 against Rangers and Joe Morrell featured in Lincoln City's 2-1 defeat away to Blackpool.

Max O'Leary conceded three goals in Shrewsbury Town's home defeat to Fleetwood and Sam Pearson was handed 10 minutes in Bath City's 2-1 defeat to Hemel Hempstead.
