The Best Feeling - Wilbraham

Striker revels in fifth career promotion success.

Aaron Wilbraham described his fifth career promotion as “the best feeling in the world”.

The striker already had promotions to his name with Hull City, MK Dons, Norwich City and Crystal Palace during his 18-year career.

But following the four points secured against Bradford City and Coventry City last week, Wilbraham now has a fifth promotion – and a league winner’s medal as well.

The 35-year-old told Bristol City Player: “It’s the best feeling in the world to get promotion and the title with this group of lads.

“Everyone deserves it because they’ve all worked so hard. We can enjoy it now.

“We’ve done it the perfect way really. We secured the promotion in style at Bradford and then to seal the league at home in front of all those supporters was unbelievable.
