'That song gets me running' - Massengo

Han-Noah Massengo was awarded the man-of-the-match accolade for his performance in City’s 0-0 draw at home to Swansea.

Reflecting on the match, the central midfielder thanked the fans for their chants which certainly raised the decibels in BS3.

And City’s France Under-19 international certainly gets inspired when he hears his song.

He said: “When they sing my song I just have to run, to say thank you. I give everything on the pitch and they thank me with a good song so thanks to the fans.”

On the result, which stretched City’s unbeaten run to seven games, Massengo said: “I think it is a good point because it keeps the momentum but we have to keep the winning mentality, we always want to win game after game but I think it is good point. The atmosphere was fantastic, so thanks to the fans, but I think it was a good point.

“It was a tough game, I think. They had some chances to score but us too. Bentley had a very good game too. I think it was a tough game but yes 0-0 is a good point.

“I think seven games unbeaten is good because we have a goal. That’s to be in the Premier League. We have to keep going, it’s simple.”
