Matty Taylor starts for City this afternoon against Wigan Athletic in the single change from the XI that lined up against Middlesbrough.
Taylor, who last started at Reading in November, replaces the injured Andi Weimann.
Head Coach Lee Johnson said: "Matty Taylor’s been patiently waiting. I’m sure he’s ready to go. He’s a bit of an idol, for the fans. He’s a very good player, and a good finisher and a master in the way he studies the opposition, the defence and their goalkeeper, so I've got no fears that he'll come in and have a very good game today.
"Andi’s picked up quite a bad knock, not as bad as first feared, which is good - it's still very swollen and very bruised.
Antoine Semenyo and Stefan Marinovic come on to the substitutes’ bench for Taylor and Korey Smith.
City: O'Leary, Hunt, Webster, Wright (capt), Kalas, Dasilva, Brownhill, Pack, Paterson, Taylor, Diédhiou. Substitutes: Marinovic, Pisano, Baker, Kelly, Eliasson, Semenyo, Palmer.
Wigan Athletic: Walton, Byrne, Dunkley, Fox, Robinson, James, Morsy, Windass, Kipre, Powell, Garner. Substitutes: Evans, Gibson, Massey, Pilkington, Clarke, Olsson, Evans
